Earthenware, decorated with transfer print and enamels.

Earthenware, decorated with transfer print and enamels.

Circular earthenware dinner plate with central indentation. Around the rim a band of turquoise, with a band of gray inside. At centre an acorn twig with three leaves and three acorns in shades of green, brown, amber and pink. Underside slightly indented to form foot-rim, glazed.

Notes

History note: Formerly in the collection of Susie Cooper; bequeathed to her son, Timothy Barker, who gave it to the Museum.
