Bought from the finder, Martin Fry, 1990; found at Hempnall, Norfolk, November 1989 (findspot recorded on the Norfolk Sites and Monuments Record). Published M. Blackburn and A. Rogerson, 'A Fifth Round Halfpenny of Henry I found at Hempnall, Norfolk', in Numismatic Circular 98 (1990), pp.198-9.
