Cream, brown, and blue, lead-glazed agateware cream jug, with three paw feet.

Cream jug. Cream, brown, and blue, lead-glazed agateware, press-moulded. Of piriform silver-shape, with shaped rim, loop handle, and three paw feet with a lion's mask at the junction of each with the body.


History note: Messrs A.F. Allbrook, Essex,from whom purchased in April 1977 by Sir Ivor Batchelor; Sir Ivor and Lady Batchelor
