English Pewter Token, late 13th/early 14th cent. Obv. Facing crowned bust. AMOR VINCIT OM(nia), retrograde. Rev. cross moline in a ray border. Ref. M. Mitchiner and A. Skinner, “English Tokens, c. 1200 to 1425", in British Numismatic journal 53 (1983), 29-77, at p.54, no.E.2. Weight: 1.14g. Provenance: bought Spink 2.6.1989; found City of London (Thames Exchange site) 1989.
