Description

Fritware, mould made, painted in blue, green, turquoise and black under a colourless glaze.
Forms part of a panel comprising twenty three tiles. A small, rectangular fragment joins with other fragment (C.4W-1928, C.4V-1928), all of which form part of a 5th row that includes larger tiles (C.4F-1928, C.4E-1928) and fragments (C.4L-1928, C.4Q-1928).
Upper surface: a section of a sinuous stem containing a floral spray that is reserved in blue and outlined in black. A series of turquoise leaves that frame the stem are visible on the edge of the fragment.
Lower surface: undecorated
