Virgin and Child

Virgin and Child, wood, carved in very high relief. The Virgin stands holding the Child in her right arm. The Child, clothed in a loose fitting garment, seems to be wriggling so that the Virgin holds his right foot with her left hand. The Child has hold of her veil with his left hand. The Virgin is crowned and her long ringlets appears below her veil.
