Description

Half-length portrait of a bearded man holding gloves. Wax, coloured flesh pink, red, brown and black. The man is turned slightly towards the viewer's left. His right hand rests across his waist and in his left he holds a pair of gloves. He has receding hair, a moustache and beard, and wears a floppy ruff and a doublet with buttons. The background is black. In rectangular wooden box with glass front.
