"The originals of these harpsichord lessons were given to me by Father Soler at the Escurial, the 14th February, 1772. Fitz.m / Father Soler has been instructed by Scarlatti" - note by Lord Fitzwilliam on the fly leaf; the original manuscripts are not in the Fitzwilliam Museum.
