Description

Chinese reverse-painted mirror, made for the export market. Three figures beneath a tree in a river landscape. The central figure, seated on a rock, holds a closed fan and a flower. The standing male figure also hold a flower and a child stands on to the left. Two birds (possibly pheasants) are also standing on the riverbank. In a carved European giltwood frame.
