Description

Ivory carved in high relief. Oval, with bust of a man whose face is turned slightly to the left. He is wearing a full-bottom wig and negligee. The bust is set obliquely to the picture plane, and his left hand is partly lost in the opening of his robe. Inscribed under the right shoulder: D.L.M.F.
