Oval Medallion Portrait Bust

Medallion, ivory carving in high relief. Unknown lady, full-face, hair swept back revealing the ears, wearing a negligee held over the breast by her right hand. The bust is set obliquely to the picture plane. Inscribed below the bust: D.L.M.
