13.03.1980. Dr. Christian Theuerkauff of Berlin saw this crucifix and considered it to be 19th century, probably the second half of the century.
R.F. Bedford and Miss Longhurst both regarded it as a very fine German work of the early 18th century and not Italian. Miss Longhurst referred to examples in the National Museum, Munich, described as German by Dr. Berliner.
