Soft-paste porcelain stand for a covered basket, printed and painted in underglaze blue.
Soft-paste porcelain stand for a covered basket, printed and painted in underglaze blue. Of oval, four-lobed outline, standing on a footring. The sides are moulded and pierced and at either end there is an applied twig handle with sprays of applied flowers and leaves at the junctions of the ends with the stand. In the middle there is a printed bouquet of flowers, foliage and fruits. The pierced design of flowers on the sides and the handles and applied motifs are touched with blue, and there is a diaper and scroll border.
