Description

Soft-paste porcelain teapot and cover, moulded and painted in polychrome enamels with flowers.

Soft-paste porcelain teapot and cover, moulded, and painted in iron-red, yellow, green, blue and pink enamels. The globular teapot has a curved spout and ribbed loop handle. It stands on a low footring and is moulded on both sides with an oval cartouche edged in rocaillerie on a ground of pleats, the domed cover with a leaf-moulded knob. Each cartouche is painted with a floral bouquet at the shoulders. The cover is decorated en suite.
