Soft-paste porcelain figure of a Seated Nun, painted in polychrome enamels.

Soft-paste porcelain figure of a Seated Nun, slip-cast, lead-glazed, and painted onglaze in pink, flesh tones, brown, and black enamels. The underside of the base has a small hole ventilation hole in the centreThe hooded nun is seated reading an open book which is inscribed 'Absolution', and has a brown binding , held in her right hand. Her pink-lined black cloak swirls about her, and a crucifix dangles from her waist. .
