Soft-paste porcelain bowl, painted underglaze in blue. The circular shallow bowl has rounded sides and stands on a low wedge-shaped footring. It is printed on the outside with a house in a fenced garden, the reverse with a river landscape. There is a 'flying crescent' near the rim. The inside with a cell diaper border interspersed with floral vignettes.
History note: Bought from S. Fenton, London, February 14th 1910, for £1.
