Figure. Soft-paste porcelain containing bone ash, press-moulded, and covered on the visible surfaces with clear lead glaze with black speckles, mainly on the lower part. The circular low mound base is unglazed underneath and has a circular ventilation hole. There is a square aperture in the back of the base to take an attachment. The nun stands on her right foot with her left foot slightly advanced. She has her right hand on her breast, and with her left supports an open book She wears a veil over a wimple, and a long gown.
