Description

Gilt-metal and ivory. Large oval, under glass. Painting in sepia of a woman standing by an urn ('I.B.' painted on front) on a pedestal (on which is painted: 'Sacred wil I keep thy dear remains'). A small Cupid is seated beside the pedestal, at the left is a weeping willow growing among some bushes. Seascape with ship in background/ Painting highlighted with hair. Gilt engraved border.
