Description

Kneeling figure (possibly a female mourner?), with both arms missing and a portion of right midriff, thigh, leg and left knee eaten away. Almost entirely absent of colour (due to loss), but small traces of red pigment visible. A similar figure shown mourning can be seen on the boat model AM E60381 (Australian Museum, Sydney).
