Glazed scarab
Faience (glazed) scarab beetle, inscribed with a name cartouche and 'beloved of Amun'.
Faience scarab inscribed on the underside with a name (of a priest or official) and the title beloved of Amun. Amun was a particularly popular Egyptian god in Nubia particularly during this period. This scarab comes from the same grave as E.157.1921; E.159-160.1921.
