Wooden kohl pot in the shape of a lotus column. Large crack running down both sides of column, which continues onto base. Damage to surface of wood, damage to rim. Piece of paper wedged into column, appears to be written in Towry-Whyte's handwriting which reads: "vase for holding stibium, in the form of a lotus column. S. July 9 1890'. Paper now bagged and placed with object.
