  • Text: If this drawing is compared with those on Place's Sketchbook recently acquired by me, there will be seen undoubted proofs that this drawing is by Place himself. It was bought with others at a sale which consisted chiefly of Place's drawings / B Ingram Aug. 3rd. 1931
