Faience figure of Ptah-Sokar

Ptah Sokar dwarf, double faced. The god is composed of two figures, Ptah and Sokar. Sokar was a hawk-headed god of the necropolis at Memphis and so the combined Ptah-Sokar was more closely connected to the afterlife than Ptah the Creator. This figure has two heads, emphasising the god's dual identity.
