Description

Bronze statuette of a cat, seated with front legs vertical, on a base. The ears feature holes where originally gold earrings would have been hung. The shape of the eye sockets indicate that an additional material would have been used for the eyes, but this is absent. There is a tang on the front of the object, underneath the two front paws, as well as underneath the back left paw. There is also noticeable damage to the bottom of the object, which as a result has created a significant hole.
