Clay coffin lid.
Coffin and fragment of lid, rectangular box with face moulded on lid. Such coffins were manufactured throughout Egyptian history and appear at a number of cemetery sites. They are difficult to date because of abstract features that remain constant throughout yet often differ considerably within the same period and at the same site.
