Fritware painted in black and blue under a white glaze
Fritware, wheel thrown, painted in black and blue under a transparent white glaze
Shape: bi-conical bowl with a plain rim, sits on a low, wide foot ring.
Interior: a radiating design incorporating black triangular inscribed panels with blue borders alternate with arabesques of palmette leaves and rosettes.
Exterior: a narrow black band is painted on the rim, while on the body black water weeds are painted. Glaze covers the surface and runs onto the foot ring.
