White salt-glazed stoneware painted in enamels with a dark green ground, scattered with black ermine or arrow motifs, and on each side, a large pink rose and five leaves
White stoneware, thrown, with applied moulded handle, spout, and knob, salt-glazed, and painted in dark green, pale yelllow, pink, and black enamels. The globular pot has a crabstock handle and spout, with four holes behind it, and an almost flat circular cover with a bent crabstock twig forming the knob. The body, including the base, is covered with a dark geen ground closely scattered with black ermine marks or arrow heads. On each side reserved in this is a horizontal stalk bearing a large pink rose flanked by two leaves and three leaves, all painted in yellow, pink, and green with black outlines and veins. The cover is decorated to match with a pink bud and one leaf. The handle and spout are dark green with black striations.
