Reddish-brown earthenware, thrown, with three applied double handles, decorated on the sides with applied white pads of clay stamped with rosettes and sprays, and on two, the initials ‘TI and date ‘1632’ under lead-glaze

History note: London, Puttick & Simpson's, 5 June 1914, lot 18; sold for 27 guineas to Mr S.G. Fenton, 33 Cranbourn Street, London, from whom purchased for £33.7s.by Dr J.W.L. Glaisher on 8 June 1914
