Production: Unknown
Hard-paste porcelain jar, decorated in blue and white. Ovoid shape, with a short neck and thick undecorated lip. A stylised flower design covers the neck. On the shoulde and round the base are lotus panels, framing leaf forms, a broad band of lilies round the centre. The base is glazed with a mark for 'Ch'eng Hua'.
The whole underglaze decoration is in the earlier Ming style
