Description

Fritware incised and coated in a turquoise glaze

Fritware, mould made with hand made feet, incised under a turquoise glaze
Shape: shallow dish with foliated rim descending via a sharp carination onto a flat base, sits on five applied ball-shaped feet
Interior: lightly incised with scrolling lines on the base and radiating straight lines on the rim.
Exterior: undecorated except for glaze, which terminates unevenly on the lower body and runs over onto the base in places.
