Buff earthenware, thrown, with greyish-white tin-glaze overall except for the edge of the underside of the foot. Circular with curved sides to the bowl standing on a circular foot which is concave underneath
History note: Said to have been dug up in Lewes where bought about 1897 by Dr J.W.L. Glaisher, FRS, Trinity College, Cambridge
