Tin-glazed earthenware painted in blue with the inscription 'S/W K/1655 surrounded by loopy paraphs
Buff earthenware, thrown, tin-glazed except for the underside, and painted in blue. The jug has a low foot, a bulbous body, a narrow cylindrical neck with a bulge below the top, and a flattened oval loop handle. The front bears the initials and date, 'S/WK/1655' , surrounded by four loopy paraphs.
