Pottery: unidentified London pottery
Buff earthenware, covered with greenish-white tin-glaze, and painted in blue, Circular with a narrow sloping rim, curved sides and flat centre. Decorated with a geometrical pattern with stylized leaves and flowerheads.
History note: Provenance uncertain before Dr J.W.L. Glaisher, FRS, Trinity College, Cambridge, but perhaps an unidentified vendor in Barrington near Cambridge, and then Mr Morley, a Cambridge dealer
