Description

Stoneware tea caddy of katatsuki (square-shouldered) form, with everted rim. Thrown, turned, altered and faceted. Covered with a red-brown glaze with streaked black splashes. Indented ring half round at quarter height, and cut mark near base. Ivory lid.
