Maker: Brislington Pottery (Probably)
Buff earthenware, tin-glazed dark blue, and painted in white. Circular with a wide, sloping rim and shallow well, standing on a footring. Painted in the middle with a bowl of stylized flowers with an insect above, and on the rim with four arrangements of flowers and leaves with stems of leave between them.
History note: Purchased in Colchester about 1898 by Dr J.W.L. Glaisher, FRS, Trinity College, Cambridge
