Stoneware tea caddy of katatsuki (square-shouldered) form with everted rim. Thrown and turned . Dipped in Tenmoku glaze to meet an incised wavy line half-way round the piece. Top dipped again in Tenmoku, so that three runs result after firing. Carved ivory lid
