Earthenware tin-glazed blue and splashed with white tin-glaze
Buff earthenware, press-moulded, tin-glazed blue and splashed with white tin-glaze. Circular with deep twelve-lobed sides and flat centre, standing on a low footring. The inside is randomly splashed in white tin-glaze; the reverse is undecorated.
History note: Unknown vendor in Cromer, Norfolk, from whom purchased about 1900 by Dr J.W.L. Glaisher, FRS, Trinity College, Cambridge
