Description

Tin-glazed earthenware painted in blue, green, yellow and orange with a standing dish filled with fruit, and a border of stylized flowers and foliage

Reddish earthenware tin-glazed on the front and painted in blue, green, yellow, and orange; the reverse, slip-coated and covered with yellow lead-glaze. Circular with a wide sloping rim and shallow well, standing on a footring. Painted in the middle with a standing dish, or tazza, filled with fruit and foliage, framed by a yellow and two blue concentric circles. On the rim there are stylized flower heads alternating with parti-coloured leaves, and round the edge a yellow and two blue concentric circles.
