Tin-glazed earthenware painted in polychrome with William III standing beneath an arch on a chequered tiled pavement
Buff earthenware, the front tin-glazed white and painted in blue, green, yellow, orange, and manganese-purple; the back with unevenly distributed pale grey tin-glaze. Circular with everted rim, and curved sides, standing on a footring. King William, flanked by the initials W R, stands on a blue and white tiled pavement beneath an arch supported on cylindrical columns, with three columns and further arches to the right and left. Round the outer edge is a yellow band and a blue dash border.
