Production: Vauxhall Pottery (Probably)
Buff earthenware, tin-glazed bluish-white, and painted in blue, green, yellow, and red. Circular with deep curved sides, standing on a footring. The inside is decorated in the centre with a motif comprising three leaves with four projecting trefoil-shaped buds or leaves, and below the rim with spaced alternating leaves and crosses. The exterior is decorated with a cockerel, a beaker-shaped vase and floral sprays springing from a basket.
