Description

Tin-glazed earthenware painted in blue, green, yellow, and red. Circular with a slightly concave rim, curved sides, flat centre with a recessed base. The centre is decorated with a group of flowering plants, a willow tree and a palisade in a medallion; on the rim, a border of red trellis and stylized plants

History note: Mr Jolly of Cambridge from whom purchased on 8 May 1906 by Dr J.W.L. Glaisher, FRS, Trinity College, Cambridge.
