Pottery: Unidentified Bristol pottery
Buff earthenware tin-glazed bluish-white and painted in blue. Circular with a sloping rim, shallow curved sides and flat centre. Painted in the middle with a dolphin spouting water, and sketchy indications of water on the rim.
History note: Mr Stuart Acton, 10a East Street, Brighton, from whom purchased on 14 November 1904 by Dr J.W.L. Glaisher, FRS, Trinity Collection, Cambridge
