Production: Unidentified Kent pottery
Pale red earthenware, coated with dark red slip, with trailed decoration over it in white slip, and yellow lead-glaze. The pot is of ogee profile with two reeded loop handles set close to each other; between them is a tulp. On the front are the initials and date, 'D 1722 L' in a panel with wavy stems at either side and a band of interlaced wavy stems below.
