Description

Tin-glazed earthenware painted in blue with landscapes

Buff earthenware tin-glazed and painted in blue. The pot has a bulbous body with a sloping spout and loop handle of oval section, and a slighly convex cover with a cone-shaped knob. The both sides are decorated with a landscape with a house, and trees beside a river or lake. Round the mouth there is a border of waves, the handle is horizontally striped and the spout is covered with indeterminate stripes and plants. The cover has a similar border.
