Tin-glazed earthenware painted in blue

Buff earthenware, thrown, tin-glazed bluish-white and painted in blue. Circular with deep curved and sloping sides with very slightly everted rim. The exterior is decorated wth a landscape with a house, rocks and trees


History note: Mr Stewart Acton, 10a East Street, Brighton from whom purchased on 16 November 1923 by Dr J.W.L. Glaisher, FRS, Trinity College, Cambridge
