Tea Bowl and Saucer from a Toy Tea Set
Pottery: Unidentified Liverpool pottery
Tin-glazed earthenware painted in blue
Buff earthenware, tin-glazed bluish-white and painted in blue. The tea bowl has deep curved sides and a very slightly everted rim. The saucer has curved sides and stands on a footring. Both pieces are decorated with a landscape with a house, rocks, and trees beside a river or lake.
