Production: Lambeth High Street Pottery (Probably)
Tin-glazed earthenware painted in blue
Buff earthenware, thrown, tin-glazed and painted in dark blue, and brown. Circular with deep curved sides, standing on a high footring. The interior is decorated wth a Chinese pagoda and trees beside a fence (or bridge), and round the rim with festoons and a feathered edge. The exterior is decorated with festoons supporting flowers and with a similar feathered edge. The rim is brown.
History note: Mr Sadd, Cambridge, from whom purchased in 1893 by Dr J.W.L. Glaisher, FRS, Trinity College, Cambridge
