Potter: Fournier, Sheila
Porcelain, thrown, notched, and pierced. Hemispherical standing on a very narrow base. The rim has two notches with a pierced hole beneath one of them. The matt cream surface is incised iron-brown festoons. The exterior has motifs in incised brown extending downwards from the notches.
History note: Purchased after being exhibited at Kettles Yard, Cambridge in June 1977
