Description

Fritware, moulded, carved and coated in white glaze

Fritware, mould made, with carved decoration coated in a crazed white glaze
Shape: carinated bowl, with lobed upper body and rim, sits on a foot ring.
Exterior: vertical lines radiate from the rim towards the base and on the neck short, closely spaced vertical lines form a narrow band. Glaze terminates unevenly on the foot ring.
Interior: coated in glaze, with a slight tinge of turquoise on the rim, otherwise undecorated.

Inscription present: Rectangular paper label with serrated edge around bottom and right hand edge, with a black rectangular border printed around the edge
