Tin-glazed earthenware dish decorated with George II, crowned, wearing coronation robes, and holding an orb and sceptre, standing between two trees, with G II R above his head. Blue dash border
Buff earthenware, tin-glazed greyish-white on both sides, painted indark blue, yellow, and red, and sponged in dark blue. Circular with deep curved sides and everted rim, standing on a footring. Decorated in the middle with a standing figure of George II wearing coronation robes and carrying an orb in his right hand, and a sceptre in his left. On either side of his crown in red are the initials G and R, and above it, a II. He is flanked by tall sponged trees, and round the rim there are two blue bands and blue dashes.
